Design

This phone is one that lives and dies by its appearance. The sides of the phone are curved nicely making the phone compact. The size of the screen is 5.5 inch and the dimensions of the phone itself are 150.9 x 72.6 mm. The rear of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge curves into a single metal rim which runs all-round the phones edge thanks to a process known as 3D Thermo Forming. The camera protrusion at the back has been minimized to just 0.42 mm which means it is strong enough to protect the lens, but barely noticeable when placing the phone down.

Screen

The 5.5 inch screen has a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 thus giving it an absolutely pin-sharp looks. This resolution also makes viewing photos and web pages an exceptional experience. The screen also has a side display which you can access by simply swiping your thumb along from the left or right hand side of your phone screen. The Super AMOLED technology makes the phone look premium and its color pop.

Always on Display

Instead of having to wake the phone so as to check notifications or see the time, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge never goes off. As opposed to the belief of many that this is a battery draining function, research has shown that this feature only takes about 0.8% of your power per hour. In this way, you can use your phone as the watch since it is always on.

Superfast Charging

Through Adaptive Fast Charging, this phone works out the best way to get charged as fast as possible. Within 30 minutes, the phone can charge between 35 and 40% of your battery. However, this makes the phone hot. To get the maximum charging, consider turning your phone off. Through wireless charging, the charging speed has also been enhanced. For optimal charging results, use the Samsung charger that comes with the phone.

Fingerprint Scan

To replace the swipe method used in Galaxy S5, this model comes with fingerprint reader. Through the scanner, you can sign stuff on the web. This adds a layer of security and convenience.

MicroSD Slot

Samsung has larger capacity of top performing UFS 2.0 internal structure which gives you faster internal storage. You can flick through galleries faster, take photos quicker, and install apps without interruptions. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge gives you over 24 GB of usable memory to play with.
